Kimi went about her business, with a huge smile and closed the door to her lab. Yuffie had giver her, her, the report on Hoshi's plot. Maybe she could finally convince Hoshi to come around! No, Kimi sighed, she'd better not get her hopes up. Hoshi said she was only doing this for those two kids...

Wait, Kimi stopped, eyes wide, shouldn't I tell somebody else?

The scientist sighed heavily and turned down a hall to return to her room. Maybe it wouldn't be wise to do this... No, not wise at all... Hoshi, thank you for making the right choice, now I don't have to destroy you...

Trace walked down that hall way thinking of how to tell Kimi, be suttle or blunt, it was hard to decide what to do.

Trace Knocked on Kimi's door and pressed the button on her entercom, "Umm, Hello, This is Trace Archon, Ms. Kimi, i have something...i have to talk to you about." he said as if he was a lost little boy in a supermarket.

Kimi blinked and stopped, smiling. "Trace, my boy!" She patted Trace on his shoulder. "What brings you to this dreary place?" She inquired, still her happy self. "I have something to tell you, Ms.Kisiragi has reported, and you're closer the elders than I am, so I want you to tell them that she has help from somebody that is right under Kadaj! Can you guess who that is?" She asked her eyes sparkling brightly, having completely forgotten that Trace came down to tell her something.

Trace looked at Kimi and nodded, "Sure i see waht i can do." he said kindly.

Trace the looked down at the floor trying to gather his thoughts and made a anoyed expression then sighed.

Trace then looked back up at Kiki, "Kimi, I not sure how to but it but.....I ment with Hoshi, and more then once." he said kindly.

She stared for a second, confusion one of the main emotions right now. Her smile disappeared, then returned. "You know that she's helping us, already? That's great! Do the Elders know?"

Kimi still wasn't all there, or maybe she was just blocking the mothering out. You'd never know.

Trace shook his head, apparently it seemed t be going well so far but still he need to be suddle.

Trace looked back at her, "Umm no sorry but no the elders don't know about her yet, plus the last time i saw her she was taken over by Jenova, but before that happened we knew each other for a while...." Trace the blushed slightly, "....Intamently." he said and his blush deepened.

Kimi's eyebrow twitched.

"You don't know what a mother's wrath feels like do you?"

She smiled kindly, his warning that he'd better run...now. She moved him out of the way, opened her door and put her papers down, then came back out, closing her door firmly.

"Five seconds~" She sang, her face still frozen in a smile.

Trace sighed, well its not like he didn't predicted this or something like this would happened. Hoshi is her daughter one way or another.

Even so Trace must stay strong and god forbid if he get a beating he would just take it. Trace looked at her and spoke quickly, "You see the forced me to leave her when Jenova took over and in truth i still love her and i want to help her in any way shape and form possible." he said quickly but kindly.

In true Trace dose still love Hoshi but he wasn't sure how to get to Hoshi in her Jenova state then again he hadn't heared any news about her sence then due to Trace's earlier AWOLing.

Her face went stone cold serious.

"Hoshi has been plotting to get Denzel and Marlene as well as the remaining in hiding out of there for about a week now. Yuffie Kisiragi has been helping her. Hoshi said that Jenova is trying to alert Kadaj, but thankfully Kadaj is still too pissed about Sephiroth's death to listen. I'm too limited to get ahold of those other heroes to help them."

She snorted and stared off distantly. "Fine, you love her. But a mother always hates the one their baby loves. For now, I find no fault, but I won't be such a nice 'mother-in-law' if Hoshi survives this war, and she purged Jenova from her heart."

Trace noded, "I see, then theres still hope for her." Trace didn't smile but a faint light of hope appeared in his red eyes.

Trace looked up at her, "If there a way for me to help Hoshi, let me know, i would die for her if need be, so please if there anything i can do let me know please." he asked.

From the look in his eyes he words were speaking the truth, he wants to help save Hoshi and get ride of Jenova.

Then she went inside her room and closed the door.

Trace nodded , "I understand." he said then wrote his radio ID number on a pice of paper and left in on at desk, "Call me when you need me and find her." he said kindly then left the room.

Trace now with new found hope walked through the door and left Kimi.
