Dawn filtered through the open balcony window into a room which held two of the Rebellion's newest allies. Not only that, but the two of them had finally been married yesterday in an official ceremony carried out by the Rebellion Elder named Clarissa herself. It had been a joyous day with all sorts of pleasant surprises as everything went off relatively without a single hitch. Except for one brief moment when a certain Enchantress appeared, but only to give her blessings along with a few other gifts that had been discovered later on.
In a lavish bed restored to its full glory through tireless effort on the part of wonderful servants, two newlyweds laid together underneath the soft silk & satin sheets. Both had enjoyed the previous day while their wedding night went by without any incident or interference. Such was obvious with the way they were cuddled together on the bed with the beautiful young woman sleeping sweetly in the arms of her handsome husband who slumbered silently with her in his protective hold. Washing along the floor like a silent alarm, warm sunlight moved toward the pair with the intent to awake them from what might be their most comfortable moment on the planet.
Soon enough the Prince was roused by the sunlight upon his bare skin. The top half of his body was above the covers after all, shielding Belle from being awoken in the same manner. Warmth pulled him out of dreamland back into a reality that was just as magical in his eyes. Blue eyes that opened to see a wonderful sight he intended to enjoy for the rest of his years: awaking to find Belle in his arms. A charming, warm smile like the sun's rays took ahold of his royal features. . . driving him to kiss the lips of his sleeping beauty.
He continued this until she awoke.
Little did he know there was a gift with an envelop underneath the glass. In the place of where his enchanted rose had once been. . . a similar stand stood in its place. However this one seemed smaller, more like a staff or sceptor ;ile one that would belong to a ruler. Inside of it was a rose almost identical to the Enchanted Rose as it glimmered in the same magical way. One might only onder for a split second who had left it there. But real question that begged to be answered was the why rather than who.

The young princess slept peacefully, dreaming of her true love, the joys they had shared, and those they would no doubtedly have in the future. No nightmares had dared to disturb her slumber that night, for all her worries and uncertainties of what lie ahead had been nullified by the events of the day... and night... before.
Tender kisses awakened the "sleeping beauty" from her slumber. Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled at her husband. Belle couldn't feel more at home as she gazed up at her true love while resting in his arms. "Good morning, my darling," she said sweetly, placing a hand on his cheek and a loving kiss on his warm lips. The golden radiance of the morning sun created an angelic glow around his handsome features that took her breath away.
As she lay there in his arms, her mind danced with wonderful visions of the day before as well as with memories of the last time they were together in this bed. And just like then, their peace would be interrupted. Though she was determined that they wouldn't be separated again, they would begin their mission to battle the Darkness very soon. What exactly was in store for the couple, no one could know. But whatever came their way, Belle and Adam would face it together. Of that she was certain.
She sighed contentedly and ran a few fingers through his light brown hair. Then the shimmer of the morning light reflected off the sceptor and into her face, causing her to wince for a brief moment at the seering light. "Adam, what is that?" She pulled herself up into a sitting position and gazed at the curious object. "The Rose..." she whispered, seeing the familiar flower within the sceptor.

At seeing Belle's sudden reaction to something that existed behind him, the Prince rolled over to find out what exactly had captured her attention away from him even for a brief moment. But what was an item like this doing back at his Castle? Curiousity seized the youth, causing him to approach the strange new gift with only slight hesitation mixed in with his naturally brave manner. Did the Enchantress leave this for him during the wedding ceremony yesterday? Everything he remembered went against that slightly, since he did not recall seeing it last night when Belle & he had entered the room after the Reception was over with.
For all the theories he could try postulating, the Prince decided to merely just approach the item in question. Getting himself ready for the best or worst, he carefully lifted up the lid to the sceptor to reach the envelope inside. He then removed the tiny item which actually ended up magically expanding to the size of a normal one in his hand before placing the lid back down. It seemed to magially seal itself permanently down upon the Sceptor, never to be removed for the rest of time. Just what was all of this about?
Knifing it open with a royal looking letter-opener, Adam then read the note inside which had been written in what seemed like gold:
Dear Prince Adam,
You have proven yourself to be truly deserving of the title which you held from birth. I bestow this Enchanted Sceptor upon you so that you may rule your planet without contest from any of those who serve the Dark and to protect those you love with all your heart. Weild this object in battle to grant you three these powers be:
1. Rose Hurricane- It summons enchanted rose petals which will harm only those with evil intent, or who have no heart.
2. Royal Summons- This will allow you to summon any of your friends from the Castle to aid you in Battle. Lumiere, Cogsworth, & Misses Potts are only just a few of your many loyal servants that may appear.
3. The Beast- Yes, once again you may transform into your inner Beast, one we both know stil dwells deep within. The transformation will last until the last petal falls from the Rose within this Sceptor.
I hope that you use these powers wisely.
Sincerely, The Enchantress
Like it had never existed, the letter along with the envelope vanished in a whimsical display of golden sparkles. More than anything he wanted to pick up the Sceptor to see just what it would do, what the power would feel like. Now he picked it up, unleashing a torrent of magical energy which completely surrounded the Prince, transforming his appearance slightly from what it had been.
Once the sparks had fallen away from him, Adam stood in a Battle-style outfit of his ballroom outfit along with a rather strange but royal looking sword in his other hand. Posing like a triumphant Hero with the Sceptor held above his head & the sword down by his hip, blue eyes looked over at Belle as they shimmered with excitement. Royalty had just become another warrior to join in the fight against the Darkness.
So it began. . .

When her beloved moved towards he sceptor, Belle sat up straighter, holding the silk sheets against her torso. She was just as puzzled as her husband by the mysterious appearance of the strange object. Her eyes widened for an instant as the sceptor resealed itself and the letter Adam had taken from it enlarged to full-size. The moments passed as he scanned over the letter. She watched his expression carefully, trying to determine what this was about. He didn't seem upset in any way, so that was a good sign. Then the letter vanished in what appeared to be pixie dust. If it hadn't been apparent already who this was from, it certainly would have been clear to the princess now.
"What did it say?" she asked as his hand reached for the sceptor.
Just as she finished her question, the torrent of magical energy surrounded her husband. It was exactly like the magic that had been used to transform him, and so it was no surprise that when the light dimmed, he stood before her in a battle outfit that complimented her own. She swooned lightly and beamed back at him, now understanding exactly what had happened. Just like Belle had been bestowed with powers to fight the Darkness, so had he.
"My hero," she said. Brown eyes sparkled adoringly at him. "Between the two of us, the Darkness doesn't stand a chance." Not to mention they would have the entire Rebellion behind them. But in her heart she felt like they had the strength to take on all the forces of evil.
Still holding the sheet to her chest, Belle stood up and walked up to him, placing her free hand over his heart. "We'll defeat them," she promised. "And restore the castle and the others to their rightful selves." A tender kiss was shared between their lips before she went and dressed into her own battle outfit. When she was ready, BatB in hand, she faced him with a comforting smile and a nod.
It was time.

Once the transformation finished he then noticed his beloved had started to talk to him. Not that he ignored her but the entire event did do a rather fantastic job of holding his attention captive in the same way prisoners found themselves in the tower. Adam looked over at his beaming wife with a charming smile before responding with his own words on the subject.
"Love conquers all."
He remembered the phrase from somewhere, which likely had its beginnings in one of the many books in his massive library. Although that left to qustion exactly how he had heard such a thing since he never learned how to read very well at all. Especially after becoming the Beast for the very first time, so many years passing by did not help. But now Belle read anything to him since she was so good at it, a perfect match for him in just one more way. Regardless of this he still looked proud while returning his Wife's tender kiss until she went to dress herself properly for whatever would come their way now.

Belle opened the bedroom door and started down the long hall of the West Wing. At one time this had been a forbidden passage to her. In fact, when she first ventured here the Beast had scared her half to death for doing so. It was then Belle decided, promise or no promise, she couldn't stay with him any longer.
Her memory flashed to that icy winter night when she fled from the Beast's rage and right into a pack of ravenous wolves. She was then rescued by the very one who had caused her to run away. After that pivotal event, Belle saw the potential the Beast had for good. It changed everything between them and soon she fell in love.
She realized her surroundings a moment later, having been in a daze as she strolled down Memory Lane. The hall was dark and cold, but perfectly in tact. Simply the aura of the castle and the form of the servants remained the way they had been before the spell had been lifted. It brought the corners of her mouth down thinking about how much they'd regained and then lost so soon. Part of Belle wanted to blame herself, but she was wise enough to know that was pointless. There was nothing she could have done to prevent her disappearance. And even after all this time, no one even knew why she and so many others vanished three years ago.
Nothing she did could ever truly make up for what that had done to her friends and especially Adam, but she was certainly going to try. Though even if she had been here when the Darkness gained control, she still would have done exactly what she was doing now: Standing beside her true love and prepared to make any sacrifice in order to restore the worlds.
The young heroine gripped BatB tighter and clenched her jaw, praying she would never need to make such a decision.

After she left, the Prince looked around the room to try figuring out what to do with himself until the one he loved most of all returned. Even though he knew she would come back, part of him always worried when she left his sight. It likely came from when she had left him the night of their romantic ballroom dance. But what kept it in check was the hope. . . hope she planted in his heart like a seed when she had returned to him that first time.
Three years she had been gone. . . straining that very same hope until it bcame a small tatter holding his heart together. When the Dark Ones came it was that hope which led him into battle against them to aid the Rebellion. Oh yes he had been on their side at first. . . but after time passed paranoia grew. Who had taken Belle? Why?
It was then he began to mistrust the Rebels as well and forbade both sides from entering his castle. At that point the only one he would let in was the only person he wanted with him at all:
Belle.
So began his transformation back into the Beast which so many knew him so well for taking on.
But now she was back. . . and their adventures would never end.
