The sun rose slowly of the quaint little town called radiator spring's filling the air with it's warmth,
The almost cloudless sky seemed a perfect blue and offered it'self to the beutifull surrounding's...
As the sun fell on one of the newer building's in radiator spring's the silence was broken by the sound's of sarge's fanfare and other's waking up typically sarge arguing with his peace loving companion over who's music should be played this earlly in the morning...
Lightning was up earlly allready rolling out of the garage door silently of his own racing headquarter's set up here in the town,
Okay... New day, new oportunities... But just what to do first?... In fact what to do at all?
Lightning looked either side of the road before letting everyyone else know he was awake by starting his engine loudly with a soft chuckle, Hey he was a race car! He was allowed to be noisy right?

Sally opened her eyes as she awoke to the recognizable sounds of a typical Radiator Springs morning. She turned off her neon lights since it was daylight now, and drove out to the smooth, black road that her sweetheart had paved. Of course, that had been before they were together, back when he was still a selfish egotistic superstar. Little did she know just how much this small town and its residents would change him... and for the better.
Ever since that same racecar had set up his headquarters in the town, things had never been better. She smiled to herself, knowing that at this very moment several cars were staying in her giant caution cone rooms and even more were at the Wheel Well Inn. All thanks to Lightning McQueen.
Before her tires touched the perfect pavement, she heard the roar of a familiar engine. She smiled again and went to meet him. “Morning, Stickers. Did you sleep well?”

Lightning looked just as sally carrera rounded the corner and smiled almost naturally whenever she was around, "Oh hey sall' sure i guess..." Lightning answered her turning his wheel's shrugging almost. "How about you?..." Lightning asked rolling forward slowly to nudge her affectionatly,
The bright red racing car looked down the road out onto the twisting old highway then up to the mountain's and the wheel well inn,

"Just wonderful," she replied dreamily. She hadn't had very many bad nights since moving from L.A. to Radiator Springs, but she especially didn't nowadays. Sally followed his gaze with her eyes and smirked. "Feel like taking an early morning drive?" she asked with a wink.

Lightning blinked and looked back to her smirking "Sure... let's take a drive," He answered her setting off steadily through the town obviously slow enough for her to catch up,
As he drove past doc's garage he noticed the door's open and no-one inside but thought nothing of it as he wathced the other side door open where doc hudson used to keep all his memorabielia,
"Heh, Crazy old grandpa car..." Lightning chuckled to himself lazily setting his eye's back to his path steering lazily through the corner's, leaning to and throw slightly. It sure was nice having freind's like he did now... And of course having sally made it all that much better of course, But there was something else aswell that made this town feel like he belonged,

It was like magic, the effect Radiator Springs had had on the rookie racecar. She only wished every car in the world could feel the way the cars in this town did. Then the world would be perfect…
Sally kept a steady pace alongside her partner in all tenses of the word. This, driving with him from town to wherever the road and winds led them, was her most favorite thing in the world. “So, I heard Chick Hicks fell out of popularity very quickly after the race,” she said with a smile to herself. It was too bad the way he turned out. And horrifying that Stickers could have ended up the same way had he continued on the road he was traveling. “Do you think he’s gonna bother racing next season?”

"Chick?... Heh, he'll be there. After all he'll just keep wanting more and more. Besides now he think's he's the fastest thing out there." Lightning pointed out though didn't sound all too bothered about chick in any reality case.
Next season... That sure was something lightning looked forward too but was much happyer to spend time here with sally,
Lightning kept his eye's lazily on the road ahead once or twice letting his attention wander over sally but that came only naturally, After all she was the only car for him and had eye's for no-one else, Though lightning grinned revving his engine to get a litytle in front of her before saying this, "So you going to be there to make the twin's jealous next season too?" Lightning chuckled knowing that the twin's where some of his biggest fan's,

She supposed she shouldn’t be surprised that Chick was still going at it, even if all his ex-fans were against him now.
Sally laughed at his question, revving her engine in turn and catching up to Lightning once more, admiring his physique as she did. Hey, she was still a female car after all, and as much as Mater had liked to joke otherwise, only Lightning’s body made her “heart” skip a beat. “You know it, Stickers,” she replied with a wink. “I hate to spoil their dreams, but someone has to show those girls who your number one is.” And with that, just as he had, she cruised slightly ahead of him.
They were coming up to the mountains now, the colossal works of nature casting their shadow on the road they travelled. And high, on a far-off mountainside cliff, stood the celebrated Wheel Well Inn, fully restored to all its former glory. It was now co-owned by Stickers and herself, but its reopening was thanks to not only them, but the rest of the town for helping out.

Lightning didn't answer as it wasn't needed merely dazing off into dreamland as he watched her pull ahead of him daydreaming again, He knew that she probably knew he was looking at her but at the same time wasn't... His mind was far from paying attention right now, Or that was untill he felt the rumble strip's along the side of the road under his wheel's,
"Hey, I Know who my number one girl is..." Lightning chuckled easily catching up brushing past her gently but slowed to her pace once more,

“Good,” Sally replied sweetly, happily cruising at a medium pace beside him. She knew that he did, even without him saying it. But it was always nice to hear.
The Porsche was certain that he would never hurt her. Not only was he not the playing type, but what they had was special, even more so than most relationships. So much had happened and still they ended up being together like a happy ending at the conclusion of a movie. Only their story was really just beginning.
After a few moments they came to bridge with the majestic waterfall, her favorite site besides the view at the Wheel Well. She always slowed when she came to this point, letting the spray of the cascading water cover her metallic frame.

Lightning blinked watching her disapear down his side before smiling, He knew she enjoyed the water's soft spray and it kinda made him feel a little more relaxed too,
But unlike sally lightning just cruised on by slowing and pulling over for her at the other end of the bridge before carrying on,
"So hey sally... Now that the town's back to how it used to be and everyone's happy what happen's now?" He asked her just out of plain curiosity as he accelerated to catch up besides her,
Lightning often thought about what the future could bring but then at the same time he found himself allways drifting back to the little town of radiator springs, After all there wasn't much he could want more... Everything anyone could ask for was there,

“I don’t know, Stickers,” Sally told him as she drove, gazing over the mountain edge to the seemingly endless landscape of brown, orange, and red stone. “But that’s the fun of it. You never know what life’s going to throw at you next. Just look at how you got here. Who would ever have guessed in a million years that you’d wind up in Carburetor County?”
They were coming up to the Wheel Well now and already some early bird cars were cruising out of their rooms to explore the area’s legendary scenery. She wished them a good morning as they did so; Sally was always ready to provide guests with friendliness and hospitality.
“But no matter what happens, or where the road of life takes us, we’ll always have this place,” she said to her sweetheart as she gestured to the view with her right front tire.
She couldn’t imagine ever moving from her home here, and couldn’t see why she would ever need to. But of course she would like to travel. As much as she loved this environment, she knew there were so many more beautiful, natural creations in the world, and she wanted to see them all. Before the town was back on the map, however, leaving to travel wasn’t an option. She felt like she had to be here in case she was needed. But now that R.S. was doing fine, it seemed like a road trip further than just up the mountain could be possible.
