It was a bright and sunny day, not a cloud in sight. The waves gently crashed up against the beach with the smell of the ocean in the air. A dark portal appeared on the sandy beach of Destiny Island and not a moment after, Ryuuzaki began to arise from the ground. The dark portal closed and Ryuuzaki looked out to see, admiring its flawless beauty. Ryuuzaki took both his swords with their sheath out of his belt and sat on the beach to enjoyed the warm sun. He took off his shade hat and placed his swords by his side. This was Ryuuzaki's favorite spot out of all the worlds that he had been to. Ryuuzaki had on his usual smile, but for once it actually matched how he was feeling. In this place, Ryuuzaki felt contentment and didn't have a care in the world. This is where he could forget about his duty to Maleficent and the Rebels and just relax. Ryuuzaki unstrapped a Sake Gourd from his belt and pulled out a Sake glass out from his kimono and poured himself a drink. There he continued to look out to sea while drinking Sake.. this was truly a state of Serenity.

*Poof* Appearing in a shroud of green smoke, Maleficent, stood before her dark solider. I guess he felt it was in his best interest to sleep on the job, you should know that Maleficent doesn't take to kindly to slackers especially since she has to deal with Pete day after day. He was taking a break apparently and all this happiness and joyful surroundings made Maleficent sick to her stomach. Her face hardened with malice as she walked fiercely to wards her lackey.
"What are you doing! Laying on the job?" She waved her staff across the dark hearted solders body. "Don't you have orders to be attending to? I don't think it is in your best interests to continue sleeping." She forced the solider closer to her placing her index finger under his chin. "You know how easy it would be if you just suddenly disappeared?"

As soon as Maleficent began talking, Ryuuzaki quickly turned around and took a knee. Having his left arm rest on his left knee that wasn't touching the ground and his right arm pointing straight down with a closed fist, bowing in respect. Ryuuzaki would not interrupt Maleficent as she spoke. Maleficent then forced Ryuuzaki closer by placing her index finger under his chin, forcing him to his feet. Ryuuzaki kept his smile on his face which he was known to never be seen without. Ryuuzaki answered Maleficent's second question in a calm and respectful tone. "Your highness, I'm merely waiting for you to bestow upon me your orders. Forgive me for my laying about, it was not intended to show a lack of commitment."
Ryuuzaki was known to be unbelievably loyal toward Maleficent and would follow any order, no matter what the cost, even if the cost was Ryuuzaki's very life. The only thing that Ryuuzaki wouldn't do, was wipe that smile off his face, and Maleficent would learn that to be true. Ryuuzaki honestly hadn't received orders from Maleficent for a few days now, so he couldn't possibly blame her for getting upset seen one of her many followers drinking Sake.

Deep down as much as it killed her Maleficent knew she couldn't hurt the friend. He was always so loyal to her, the only solider who completed most of her beggins. Moving her index finger away she looked at him sternly with an intimidating sparkle in her eye. She was surprised over the 3 year time period how loyal Ryuuzaki was to her, he was almost like a son to her. Walking a distance away from her she had her back facing him.
"The resistance is getting stronger, I did not expect for them to gather themselves together so quickly. Its time to act now while its too late." Turning back around standing directly in front of him she lighted up a quirky smile. "Your mission is simple. I want you to retrieve a certain treasure for me, a treasure that comes complete with a 7 bundled package. It shouldn't be to hard for someone of your standards, they won't even put up a fight thats how easy it is."

Maleficent turned around and then turned back toward Ryuuzaki and began speaking about the Rebels. Ryuuzaki's smile grew as she continued. Ryuuzaki was happy to serve Maleficent even though she said that the rebels wouldn't even put up a fight, which Ryuuzaki loved it when they did. Ryuuzaki once again took a knee and began to speak. "It would be an honor like it always is to serve you your highness. I am your blade who will cut down those who would dare even speak your name without respect, much less oppose you. I will do whatever it is you command, just tell me what I am to do and it will be done.", said Ryuuzaki in a respectful and confident manner.
It has already been three long years, serving under the great Maleficent. Ryuuzaki has slain many rebels in her name and he would continue to do so till his dying breath. Ryuuzaki was her blade and her blade alone.

"You incompetent fool! Not the rebels the 7 princess of hearts!" Tightening her grip on her staff she waved it around revealing a swirl of green mist that showed pictures of 7 fair maidens. "These are your targets, they all have the power when placed together to open the gate of darkness, which I will use to take over Castle Oblivion. You can see that this task is of a HIGH priority and failure is not an option."
Maleficent tried to reassure her minion that if he failed it would be his last breath. She was of course the mistress of all evil and she expected all her tasks to be taken seriously, especially ones of importance as this one. "If I catch you sleeping again your done for." Smiling she once again waved her staff over the heartless's body. "I have given you a new ability to aid you in your search for the princesses. Its an ability which allows you to sense the purity and darkness in someones heart, use it wisely." Getting a gift from Maleficent was somewhat unusual since she doesn't believe in being fair, but since she knows how well this solider works shes making sure the task will be completed. "Now be gone and finish my biddings!"

Ryuuzaki's eyes quickly widened and in the same amount of time reverted back to normal after Maleficent called him an incompetent fool. He did indeed feel foolish and worthless when he wasn't 100% to Maleficent's liking. Ryuuzaki hated to mess up in front of Maleficent, for it made him seem like he wasn't paying attention, but Ryuuzaki hardly ever received a mission that didn't involve the rebels, so he assumed too much, which he should stop doing. Maleficent began to speak of the 7 princesses of hearts and how she needed them to open the gate of darkness. She then continued on that if he was ever caught slacking off, he would be finished. After Maleficent said that, Ryuuzaki would do well to never rest again. He would give his full commitment toward the dark ones and Maleficent. Ryuuzaki was truly honored to be assigned such an important task and he would do it, without any questions. He would capture the 7 princesses of hearts and bring them here, to Destiny Island.
Maleficent then did something unexpected, she bestowed upon Ryuuzaki a gift to in which allowed him to sense the purity and darkness in someones heart. This would not only help Ryuuzaki find the 7 princesses of hearts, but it would also aid him in seeing who was on his side and who was not. Maleficent then dismissed Ryuuzaki. A dark portal opened up underneath him and he began to slowly sink into it. "Rest assure that you have entrusted the right one for this task your Highness. I will not fail you.", said Ryuuzaki before completely disappearing.
