Arite didn't spare a glance to Sally, a booted foot mind accidentally step on her if she moved too much. His hard, and slightly wild gaze remained locked on Jack as his smile quirked a little wider at the Skeleton King's questions. Arite should need no introduction, nor was he about to tell Jack who he was. "I am the hand of my creator, and your worst Nightmare." As if a worse nightmare was possible in Halloween Town! But then... he was stealing Sally away. Wasn't that a dread for Jack?

His words bared sharp teeth at the tall frame of bones. He didn't bother answering the question pertaining to Sally... because frankly, he didn't know. Arite was always more brawn than brains. He just followed orders and never asked questions of reasoning. The Recombinant's body seemed relaxed, but maybe Sally, being the closest might have noticed a slght tensing of muscles, flexing for a spring.

"Look out, Jack!" Sally warned as soon as she saw Arite's legs tensing for lift off. She didn't know what powers this "man" possessed, but being allied with the Dark Ones made him an unpredictable foe.

If only she could get the Recombinant away from both herself and Jack. Then she could finish him off. Or at least stun him enough to finish him off with a shower of powerful potions. But the chances of that seemed very slim. He would probably either stay close to her and keep her from making any moves, or stay close to Jack.

Jack glanced at Sally and followed her eyes to the man's legs. He kept his emty sockets on his legs waiting for him to make a move. No my friend I think you are confused. For I am your worst nightmare. Meet the King of Halloween. Jacks expression changed into a toothy grin as he got ready for a fight.

Arite was the strongest, physically, of the Recombinants, which meant a great deal. Maleficent's Recombinants were designed and created as weapons of Darkness. (WoDs!) On top of that fact, the Fourth and youngest Recombinant had a nasty habit of enjoying fights a bit too much. Which was probably the only reason he now chose to fight with Jack instead of leaving when he had the chance.

Arite curled a lip back in a snarl, as he sprang. He drew no weapon. He didn't care who Jack was, in a matter of mintues he'd be nothing but a pile of bones! Though Jack was taller, Arite certainly had the advantage of body mass. His frame plowed into the "King of Halloween". For being a dolt, Arite moved swiftly and accurately. The Recombinant rarely misstepped, and rarely missed his intended target... hence what made him so deadly.

Jack's grin both encouraged and concerned the young rag doll. Seeing her beloved with such confidence gave her hope that everything was going to be alright. But at the same time, she didn't want him go get cocky. Though he wasn't that type of person, so that didn't concern her too much. Jack Sparrow on the other hand... that would have been another story all together. Maybe.

She gasped as Arite leaped at her Pumpkin King with such speed. Though Jack was also known to be swift on his feet. Would he be able to get out of the way in time? It was all happening so fast!
